Do you have a disability or personal connection to disability? Think you have ideas about how Wisconsin can better meet your needs or the needs of your peers? If so, consider applying to serve on the Independent Living Council of Wisconsin (ILCW). We are looking for dedicated members who are interested in rolling up their sleeves and working to maximize the leadership, empowerment, and productivity of individuals with disabilities. ILCW members work with state government to help set priorities and direct funding for Independent Living services for people with disabilities. We also collaborate with other disability councils in Wisconsin to promote inclusion and self-determination for all people with all types of disability regardless of age.
If we’ve peaked your interest and you’d like to learn more, please contact ILCW staff at 608-256-9257. You can also find out more information on this website.
